Stacking, Nesting Sorting – is a toddlers main game! Stack ’em up, knock ’em down, Sorting and Re-arranging things into and out of containers/boxes and nesting items within each other. This play is very interesting and very satisfying for little ones. Doing this teaches them lots of basics, and generally each little achievement (stack, nest sort) has a feedback loop that builds their confidence and sense that they have some control over their environment. Don’t bother destroying the oceans with plastic versions – these wooden ones are a must have for every toddlers play collection (all these make perfect First or Second Birthday Gifts)
